On Monday March 14 2016, Sage Foundation (Sage of the accounting software fame) provided educational support to disadvantaged children and youth at a boarding facility in Lekki through Mend a Life & Home Foundation, our educational partner in Lagos hosting some of the displaced children and youth we have been working with.
Sage Foundation refurbished facilities at the school to improve the quality of education the children receive. These include the school’s library and computer lab. About 28 volunteers from Sage, including some of their senior management team and others volunteered to paint the school’s library and spend some time with the children. After this, they had a novelty football match with the children and the younger team gave the Sage guys a good run for their money and beat the older team 4-1! We captured the exciting moments below:
