Sewuese Okubanjo is a food scientist entrepreneur and a European Union Erasmus Mundus scholar with a Master’s in Food Innovation and Product Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology. She is currently completing her Phd in Food Science at Massey University in New Zealand.
An ex-banker, having worked with leading banks in Nigeria such as Citibank Nigeria, Fidelity Bank and First Bank of Nigeria, Sewuese decided to go back to her first love of Food Science and is a food entrepreneur, working on innovating and processing natural African food products for public health. Sewuese is a professional member of the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technologists and is a founding trustee of Sesor.
Nkanu Egbe, CEO, Henkmedia Connect, is a Broadcaster, Journalist, 360o Communications Consultant of over 30 years’ media experience. He is a time-honoured content creation and marketing professional involved in developing content for broadcast, print, online and social media, consulting for major media companies like Cosse Nigeria Limited, TaijoWonukabe Ltd., JSP Corporate Communications and Lumina Communications. Egbe was once Editor, Society magazine and Editor-in-Chief, Expression magazine. He was also Editor, Surulere Arena, all print titles. He is still involved in broadcast productions, having started his media journey with Radio Nigeria and is currently the presenter of the Radio Nigeria One weekly programme, Classical Journey.
Ier Jonathan-Ichaver resumed at Sesor in 2013 as Executive Director after over seven years at the United Nations Children’s Fund’s (UNICEF). Her last posting was at UNICEF Geneva, Switzerland where she provided global advisory and training support to UNICEF offices in Latin America, Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East on corporate alliances and fundraising. Prior to working with UNICEF Geneva, Ier had worked with UNICEF Nigeria and the Centre for Values in Leadership and has experience in advertising, banking and Christian ministry. Ier is a graduate of Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and also holds a Masters in Political Management from the George Washington University.
